I lived in this area a long time. People enjoy there homes here. I had a bike stolen once (over 20 years). There is more theft in parking lots everywhere right now, especially these apartment building and mall lots it seems. People are safe in the area and it has great schools and kids enjoy the area. It is not that great by this apartment building. Much better by homes in the area, maybe consider a home instead of this townhome. When you live by multi-housing, it changes more. It's more predictable by the homes and there are some nice starter home buys. The schools, Long Lake park are great and access to cities is awesome.... more
Expect 2013 to be the first possible year for price increases nationwide. foreclosures will take at least that long to both come due and go through the process.

Home sales are up and prices are down in Minnesota, where some of the most affordable housing markets in the country are at 2000 year home prices.
Many people say the bubble started in 1998 or 1999. That should mean that prices do not have much further to drop. The problem with that thinking is that prices often go below decent valuations when a bubble pops. The bottom often goes below normal pricing in the dumping fervor.
