Unless you are referring to a specific curriculum, it will depend on the class. Agents, Lenders and various sources offer variations of the classes called, First Time Buyer's Classes that can go as quickly or slowly as they design them.
These classes are really just an overview of the process that you'll be come much more familiar with as you move through the process. When I work with first time buyers, I try to provide an idea of what will be taking place and the order of things. I find that the information is often too much to fully grasp in one quick meeting, so we review the process and explain things over again as often as necessary as we go.
Find a great agent who loves to work with first time buyers and you'll have a good experience. Not all agents are patient enough to answer your questions as often as they need to be addressed, but you deserve the answers.... more
