The answer to this question is it depends on who owns the property. In Texas, these is an unexempt tax amount, and then there is the amount that is actually paid after exemptions. Texas counties generally offer exemptions for homestead, over-65, disabled vet, etc. To determine the exact amount of the taxes, you need to figure out which of the exemptions that you qualify for.
To see the latest tax information on the property, you can look it up at the Chambers County Central Appraisal District - http://www.chamberscad.org/ This website will show you the last assessed value for the property, the current tax rates from the various taxing authorities (city, county, schools, etc) and the amount of any exemptions.
