I'm no expert, but I do feel that there is a positive connotation with wood siding as opposed to a synthetic material. If it is cost effective for you in your current status, I would recommend using the cedar. But, if the cement siding is the best option, for money's sake, it seems to be a great option as well; seeing as it looks similar to the cedar, and is not vinyl. I don't know what effects this will have on your home value; if questions arise, however, perhaps it will be sufficient to explain that it is not vinyl siding. http://www.sidepro.com/reside/... more
I won't consider this as a deal breaker any time. You can change the electrical grounding with very little cost and I have helped clients with that. In fact, I had to to for my own house when I was moving to Solar panel. It's not costly at all compare to what you are shopping for.
Nevertheless, It is important. I always recommend clients to ensure electrical are well done, well grounded and distributed. Wiring is important too, which usually overlooked.... more
When it comes to any safety/crime related issues, it's always best to contact the local authorities with all your questions, hear all there is to hear firsthand. If unfamiliar with the area(s) do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. Real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase/rent, or not, in specific neighborhoods.
Your cousin will have to go through the qualifying process, just as anyone else (would) if buying your home. The fact the two of you are related has no bearing upon your cousin's income, credit scores and debt.... more
Have you spoken with your family and friends in your area? Going by word of mouth is usually a pretty good way of doing it. There are a lot of contractors out there so you want to make sure you get a good one. Good thing nobody wants to refer somebody they hate to somebody they like. http://www.aumentaplumbing.com... more
Evening leonesimkins, I hope by now you have connected with a local real estate agent and they have given you a sense of what the rental rates should be for your property. Additionally, they can offer a specific estimate of what your property is worth.

I cannot imagine that a double yellow line will provide sufficient evidence of devaluing your property, but could prove to be more challenging for the agent selling your home. Is the street you live on a busy thruway for commuters or is it limited to other times of the day?
Property value for your home is mostly dictated by condition of the home, property and surrounding areas. Then comparing those values to similar homes in the area. Will your home be worth as much as a similar home a quiet dead end street? Probably not, but again, its a subjective item for pricing your home.... more
Evening Ronit, I would check your local registry of deeds online website for the property in question you are looking to find information about. For Winchester, you would vist: http://www.masslandrecords.com/middlesexsouth/ In the header, click on search options and select property search. There you can find public records of the transaction.
As for updates at Trulia, I would expect their content to be updated dynamically based on feed data from the listing services, however, if the listing was manually updated by the previous agent, it could have broken the data connection.
You should contact an electrician about this. They would be able to tell you how much of a concern this should be. I hope that you'll be able to get it figured out. It can help you a lot to get that information from a professional. I hope that you'll be able to get this resolved quickly and easily.
I'm gong to be switching my phone system as well. I want to know which one I should go with. It seems like there are a lot of different options out there. What one did you end up going with? Has it worked well for you? http://commpluswv.net... more
