A lot of things will go into this answer. How close is it to the beach or other water source? Is it in a flood zone? Will you have a mortgage on the home? When was it built? Does it have hurricane shutters or other hurricane protection? How far away from a fire hydrant is it? The best thing to do would be to call a local agent with the address information so they can give you a correct estimation. I have a great guy if you want to email me I can pass on his info.
Best of luck

When you state that you are the buyer, have you already purchased the property? In other words how is the property titled, to you or to the builder. Who ever holds the title should have insurance on the property. Please make sure that your agent knows that the home is in the process of being built so that you will be covered for builders risk and theft. Don't leave yourself open for liability.
Dear Joni: We have a great relationship with a local insurance agency called Insurance Icon. Tracy Woods is the owner of the firm and her number is (321) 727-0951. She will be happy to help you with your question.
