hi Cbs, most all information on trulia is derived from some underlying MLS system. So if it is inaccurate in the MLS, it will be inaccurate on trulia. That may or may not be the reason for the incorrect information -- but it is the most likely reason and therefore the first thing you should check. Have your agent correct it ASAP if that is the case.... more

LOL, don't worry, it's not that they're trying to hide something from you! I've been living down here a long time and there's way less crime than ever before. Baltimore is really changingfor the better lately -- we have an awesome Mayor and the right policies in place! Now the biggest crime is that our proerty taxes are a little too high!... more
If you let me know what you're searching for, I can setup a search directly from the MLS for you.

We can always hope for improvement, but real estate picked up for about 2 months here in Md. & then dropped off again. Land is a hard sell. If the land is commercial---maybe you could sell it.
Residential land is another story unless a developer buys it. Individual lots are difficult to sell at this time. Good Luck with your sales venture, I wish you well.... more
Some estimates are more accurate then others.
You should look to your agent to get the most current information on sold properties. Your agent can do a competitive market analysis for you.
If you do not have an agent, I would be happy to help you.

If your home is listed by an agent you should not try to claim it. That would interfere with their ability to enhance your listing. If you are listed as a FSBO, contact the company that placed you in MLS for assistance.... more
Because online services like Trulia, Zillow etc get their listings from many sources and the agents don't come here and update them. We update our MLS but these sites don't always get the updates, just the listings when they are new. Agents often have no idea where their listings are being displayed and so we do not go around updating them. If you are serious about purchasing then find an agent to work with, looking online is nice and will give you an idea what is there but these sites are totally badly out of date. Our MLS systems are 100% up to date so find an agent to send you listings and use these sites to get an idea of what is out there - or what WAS out there.... more
I have actually tried to write a review for an agent we used a few years ago before I was an agent to buy our first home. He was fabulous and I wanted to review him but I seem to be unable to. Hopefully someone knows :-).... more
I have found that, just like a lot of things in life, you just have to jump in, ask a lot of questions, and navigate and drive at the same time.
