That particular home you are looking at is under contract and should be closing any day. However, it is located in a beautiful neighborhood with tree-lined streets and plenty of neighborhood amenities. The location is also very good as it is close to several grocery stores, freeways, and Dell's corporate headquarters.

This home is zoned for Cedar Ridge High School, which is the newest high school in Round Rock. For more information, please see the web reference below.

If you'd like some help on purchasing a home in this area, please let me know as it is an area I am quite familiar with.

West Wood is by FAR the best high school in Round Rock. It has the IB program, and much higher test scores than any of the other schools.

just based on what I've heard from people in person that have children attending HS and being newer to the area (about 1.5 yrs) . RRHS is good, Cedar Ridge is newer (3+ yrs old) so the ratings are based on that but overall consensus was good. and Stony Point has a lot of crime. Unfortunately I haven't heard any positive feedback on Stony Point - though the area (Teravista etc) is nice to live in. For 260k, I would suggest east of 35 (Sonoma or the newer developments nearby - it also depends on what exactly you want too (# of rooms, sqft etc). Try to stay away from Brushy Creek flood zone (or just be aware of it). Good luck on your search!

There are numerous sites and sources for information on schools and and how they rank and compare to others. I have some the rankings I can send you if you would like me to send them to you. Just let me know. I am also a mortgage broker so I can help you not only find a home but obtain the best financing options because I deal directly with over 15 different lenders at the wholesale level.

Hope this helps.

I have heard from my neighbors that Cedar Ridge is great. I actually live right in the Sonoma/Lake Forest area-so I'm biased-I love living in this area.

Give me a call/text/email, I'd love to help you out!

Depends on your definition for "best high school." I lived in and my boys went to school in RR for 8 years - call me to discuss. Phil Hutson/Realty Austin 512-415-2213
