what is the avg. price per foot for homes in the maryville area ?
I am considering buying a home in blount co. area and I was thinking about the average price per foot.
If you are talking a site built home you will average approximately $85 - 100 a square foot for an older home over 3 years old. Right now new homes are averaging from $100 - $125 a square foot and you can find good buys because of the fact alot of builders have over built .It may seem strange but the bigger houses are less per square foot then the smaller (1500 and down ) because of the mortgage crunch the bigger ticket homes have suffered.
