what have homes sold for in the past year
Hello Laurie;
It depends on what you're looking for in the 80909 zip code. It may be a better idea to check out the sub-division. (size of home, # of bedrooms, baths etc...) I'd also look at the last few months for a better dollar amount. With the way things are now-a-days, that would probably give you a better picture of what is happening in the market. You may just be wanting to know if the value of the homes have gone down. I'm not sure. You may be wanting to know if now is a better time to sell.
If you need help, feel free to contact me. A good current CMA is really worth it's weight in gold.

Hello Laurie,
Here is a link to the Pikes Peak Association of Realtors MLS. I did a quick search of all the single family homes that sold in the last 6 months in the 80909 zip code. This will include nice houses all the way down to the Foreclosure mess.
I hope it helps.

I happen to live in that same zip code and can tell you that the age and size of homes is quiet diverse. Homes range from approximatley 140,000 to as much as 350,000 close to Palmer Park. These areas were developed from the 1940's up to as recent as the 1970's. I would love to provide you with a more detailed analysis. Email me at crharding@crharding.biz

80909 is too diverse of a zip code to apply one generic average number to homes sold and could be extremely misleading. Is there a specific house or subdivision you are interested in?
If you looking as a buyer I'd say focus in on what properties sold for in the last 30 to 60 days for purposes of negotiating.
Would be glad to help,
Susan Walker
