looking to invest. what are the rental markets like in cape coral and port st lucie?

FIRST ANSWER
I can't speak for Cape Coral, but in Port Saint Lucie there are quite a fe homes available for rent. This has brought rental prices down a bit. Slowly, but surely, this abundance of rental property is getting smaller and eventually rents will be going back up. Some prices are now low enough that investing and renting can make sense.
Just pick and choose carefully.
