Dear Delbert,

You received good answers below. I would just like to expand on one of David Brower's comments. There are government mandated programs and there are private programs for renters who are living in properties that have been foreclosed. One program is called "CASH FOR KEYS" and that would allow you to receive anywhere from $100 to $1500 as a stimulus for a speedy move-out.

Follow the instructions in the other answers below to find out who has the information you need. If you are wanting to ask the new owner if you may continue renting from them or if you want other information - the others have done a great job detailing it out for you.

Best wishes -
Lynn

You should have received a foreclsoure notice of auction that would have had a contact on it. You should contact them. Either way though whether it was sold at auction or if the bank took it back, someone should be in touch shortly regarding your options. Good luck working things out

Hi Delbert,

Contact the Trustee. There should have been notices posted and/or mailed to the property regarding the foreclosure. The notices should list who to contact.

Delbert,

Are you living in the ATL, GA area? Your profile says Tuscon, AZ. But your question appeared in ATL section. If you are in GA, foreclosure auctions occur on the first Tuesday of every month. If you know the foreclosure attorney that was assigned to cary out the foreclosure then you can call the office to confirm it was foreclosed. If it was scheduled it was done, most likely. If you send me the address I can look it up and tell you as well. If you are in AZ you will need to find someone there who can help you. If you are a tenant, you have certain rights in either state.
