Faltoo,
The market is up just a little from the same period last year. If you are thinking of moving there are many things to consider. It is not the best time to sell but it is an excelant time to buy, which is usually the case or it is reversed. Interest rates are good and there is a large invantory for you to choose from as a buyer. The large invantory works against you as a seller though. The other advantage that you have is if you are moving up you can potentially save more in your purchase than you you will make in your sale in this market. Example: If you can loose 10% of what you hoped you would get from the sale of your $200K home, $20K, you can figure the home that you are buying is loosing the same 10% and if you were looking at a $300K home 10% would be $30K. You end up coming out ahead by $10K. There are many other advantages that I can tell you about and help you through what might look like a tough market. Just give me a call.
