Loma Linda, like most cites, has suffred during these down times. That said, it does have some wonderful deals there, and this area is such a desirable area (bedroom community) I can't imagine it not being a pefect time to buy.

Eric, how would you answer the same question today?

Eric, our prices are down 28% from Sept 07 to Sept 08. Now homes are affordable again! There are a lot of foreclosure and pre-foreclosure (short sale) properties on the market, but I expect that they will all sell by June 09. Lots of houses in the $200K range just west of Loma Linda in 'Cooley Ranch'. South of Barton there is a shortage of well-priced homes. I expect 2009 to be a very good year for buyers and Realtors - but just another frustrating year for sellers.
