how do i find median home sales records in a given area.?
looking to compose spread sheets for comparing median home sales rates in different neighborhoods and areas to better predict a good price for purchase. i would like to find information dating back at least 20 years

FIRST ANSWER
You can get recent stats here: http://www.riliving.com/oceanstate/SalesStats/default.asp They will not go back as far as you want, though. I would contact the Realtor Association at 785-9380, they may be able to direct you to older stats.
