With rising rental prices, it might be time to consider owning your own home. If an apartment lifestyle is what your looking for, you can purchase a condo for minimal money down, and a fixed monthly note you can count on. Location is going to be what will make your rent. Type of home and how close you are to everything. Nothing is really cheap any more since Katrina came through. You most likely are looking at $700 up in a good area.
