Having a lawyer is beneficial in any real estate transaction. I feel it can amount to the confidence in your realtor and their team that are there to protect you.

Yes and No, Depending if you are going to use a competent realtor in the purchase or not. If the condo agreement is particularly complex your realtor may advise extra council. Good luck.

I say you will certainly need an attorney to draw the deed and it will have to be recorded at the city. You would either need a title company or an attorney to get that done for you. It's a standard in all purchases to have one of the other. Keep in mine since you are the buyer, you will have a stack of papers to sign. You certainly need the expertise of a title company or attorney to process that file for you and with you. It's the least amount of money you spend and since it's the largest purchase you will ever make in your lifetime, why wouldn't you? Just a thought!!!

No, A Realtor or Agent can be all that you need when purchasing a Condo, however if you need additional legal guidance you are certainly welcome to hire one. Overall, it isn't necessary. I strongly recommend reading through the Condo Association Disclosures so that you fully understand what is expected from the Association and you, the Buyer. When purchasing a Condo through a Resale Agent or from a Builder in New Construction, you are given 10-days recission to review the Condo Documents or to Cancel your Contract. Condominiums can serve as an Ideal Home for a Buyer if the provisions and arrangements are a good fit for their Lifestyle.

Depends on your location. Ask your agent. They can best help guide you.
