do all condo associations have to be fha approved in order to receive the reverse mortgage benifits?

YES, the condo HOA, Home Owners Association, must have current FHA approval in order to obtain a reverse mortgage on a condo unit owned and occupied as their primary residence.

Yes, condos need to have be FHA to be able to qualify for a reverse mortgage.
