This is really important. My ex-husband is claiming his monthly mortgage payments are $3833 per month.
The home was purchased in 2005. He is trying to get out of paying child support for his 2 children. Can you help me, or give me the number or information of someone who can?
My e-mail is vickit1@verizon.net THANK YOU
Scott,
It is too bad that this is happening. As I said, I would probably find myself defending myself as well. Hopefully it will stop and get better for you. As a reael estate agent you would think that she could have figured this out on her own but I know that not all agents are created equally.
Keep up your good support and if there is ever anything that I can help with please let me know.

Scott,
Thank you for the compliment.
I can sympathies with your situation and I do usually try to hear both sides before I take sides and even then I try to determine would might be exaggeration or conjecture. It is really too bad and if all you say is true, it is good that your kids do have a good dad. Your defense to the responses here are well noted and I do agree that taking sides and making unfounded accusations in this setting is not a professional thing to do even having heard both sides now. Kim's comment is also good advice, to consult the attorneys involved, and it would hopefully be likely that her's would tell her that there is no chance that she can get any additional moneys from you, assuming the support you stated below is true. I do want to say that airing the dirty laundry here is not a good thing either, though I understand and might have done the same thing in your situation. If what you say is true, hold your head high and don't lower your standards and know the truth will come out either way.
The information that I stated is all public information from the Klamath County Court House or general market information. The taxes and insurance were guesses even though I could have gotten the exact taxes if I wanted to spend a little more time. I hope that I was not too far off on either of them, but I am sorry if I was.
If I can ever help with anything just let me know.

Hi Vicki,
As a local realtor my advice in this situation is to contact your attorney to see what your options are. As Ron mentioned below, the payments could be in that range, but may not be. The value of the home in today's market is irrelevant, but what his actual payments are is the issue here.
I sincerely hope this works out for you. Child support is of utmost importance! Good luck!
Vicki,
This home is located just out of town and I think it is actually 3665 Pine Tree. Your ex-husband bought this home back in 2003 for $175,000. It was a bank owned property that needed a lot of work to get it back into shape. It is almost 4,000 sq ft and is appraised at $518,000. The taxes are over $3,100 per year and the insurance is likely around $2,000 per year. If he refinanced this home at the top of the boom it is very likely that he could have a loan in the $500,000 area which with taxes and insurance included the payment very likely could be around $3,800 per month.
I am guessing that you have not lived in this home or seen it, but you did not say one way or the other.
I hope this is helpful, though I am guessing it is not the answer that you were hoping for.
If there is anything that I can do to help please let me know.
Thanks,
Ron Rogers, CRS
