Homes are selling in Amador County, but at a slower rate than previously. If you have a home in Pioneer, you will be competing with quite a few short sales and foreclosures and therefore will have to price your home accordingly. If you have a lot of equity in the home, are reasonable about price and the home is unique in some way, then your chances to sell are better. We as real estate agents don't have a crystal ball, but it doesn't hurt to put your home on the market now because later down the road might be worse, not better.
By the way, don't rely on the link that the other person gave, it is bogus because the database for the county records is not good and a lot of the information is incorrect. Just go to the schools information and you will see that it is incorrect. There are more than 2 elementary schools, they names of the schools are wrong and the places of location are wrong, too.
If anyone needs information about the area of Amador or Calaveras counties, just contact me and I will let you know which websites have good information.
