Hello,

With more buyers coming off of the fence, so to speak, this is helping listings to get sold.
This with other economic factors help us to believe that the downward trend will be slowing and will hold for a time before the home prices start to appreciate again. This is basically what were seeing nationally but also here in Utah. The foreclosure numbers in Utah aren't near what they've been in other states. We've had pockets of higher numbers of foreclosures in some cities compared to others though. Mainly those with high amounts of new construction within the last few years are the areas hardest hit with short sales/foreclosures. Are you looking primarily in Alpine, or in the general area?

I hope that this info. has helped you in your home search decision.
