Why does it seem that many homes on Florence are over priced? I am taking about older homes that have 2
bedrooms and 1 bath listed for 99000 and above. I am finding it very frustrating to find a home right now because of this. I am a first year teacher and my income will not allow me to get a loan above 100,000..I did not want to even go that high to keep my payments low. The only homes I can afford are in areas of Florence I DO NOT want to live in because of crime. I checked into the fthb incentives for teachers and they only will give you help if you buy a home in the rough parts of Florence. Does anyone see this improving? I want to own my own home but it seems impossible!!

Karen don't give up. We will just have to look hard to find one in the right area and in your price range. Many people will list their home for a lot but will take a lot less when it comes to it.
