Highland is a unique neighborhood in that some of the streets have homes that have been updated and improved over the years, while others have a majority of rentals and home quality has suffered. So, the previous "answerer" was right on when he said demographics of residents.

There are some quality sought-after streets and there are some that have suffered because landlords tend to maintain their rentals but not improve them. It is really, in some areas, a block by block difference.

If you would like for me to run the comps for a specific house, I would be glad to. My email: heathergoodwin@bellsouth.net. My number: 318-465-6746

Consider:
1) The age of the homes
2) Style
3) Construction
4) Location
5) Understand the market for specific size and all of 1 through 4, considering the demographics of buyers
