Dawna,

For the most part you've gotten accurate answers. The Tulsa area MLS does not feed its listings to trulia.com. Some brokerages (such as Keller Williams Realty) have partnerships with 3rd party sites (like trulia.com) where all of their listings do populate.

It was nice of Kevin to offer the use of his website, however, there's no registration on mine so feel free to use it in complete anonymity :) and if you should have questions there's a "contact me" option.

Dawna,
Hello. Good afternoon! As you might have read on another person's answer, not all websites such as this one, have all local listings. That is due to rules of the local Multiple Listing Service. You can access the local Tulsa MLS and view all local Tulsa Metro listings on my personal website. Just answer the questions on the online form and you will be granted access to the Tulsa MLS. From there you can view all local listings that fit your criteria. If you need further assistance or have any other questions, please feel free to email or call me.
Thanks,

Here in the Atlanta metro Area, we have two different competing MLS's which require manual input of listing data. In order for our listings to show up on Trulia and Google Search, KW agents must input the data yet a third time into our company's own listing service (KWLS). I suspect other brokerage companies must also do the same.

While the process is presently time consuming and costly to the individual agents, I believe that it is only a matter of time before new & better solutions for inputing listings are developed. Candidly, I was reluctant to initially spend the time inputing the data into our KWLS because of the additional effort (i.e. time = $$$), however, I think that by doing so, we are marketing and maximizing the exposure of our clients' homes using some of the best real estate specific search tools available today.

Keep watching Trulia because there are other features (i.e. the ability for agents to upload disclosure documents and related) coming soon as well.

Warm regards,

Hi Dawna,

Trulia gets listings from a variety of sources, and we're not affiliated with the MLS. This means there are some gaps in our inventory. But we're working obsessively towards maximizing our inventory of active listings, and we add new listings every day.

We have close to 2 million listings in our database already, and the number keeps growing.

I hope this helps.
