Good afternoon, DoodleSmiith.
The Mecklenburg County register of deeds will have this information. Individuals can search these for themselves in the Mecklenburg County register of deeds office, or you can pay an attorney or title search company $75 to $150 to search it for you. My curiosity is getting the best of me . . . Why do you want to know who owned this particular home in 1941????

doodlesmith,

this is something you have to go down to the county courthhouse and look up the records for it. Unfortuantely online it will not go back that far for a realtor to be able to see who owned it back then...Most title companies only require a 30 year history when a house is being sold to follow the title back so I am not sure if you won the house that the title insurance comapny went back that far as well..
