Look for sales skills, experience, your comfort with them, and ease of communication. The "local' one is often not the best choice.

Dottie,Is there a reason your focus is on Wilshire,I found a great deal for my lewis center buyer, great neighborhood, homes in this subdivision, were 4-5 yrs old,I showed them 30 plus homes. So have to know alittle more on your real estate needs if still looking.
Thx,good luck,

Dottie:
There is no single agent that is dominating the market in your neighborhood. See the web reference below for tips on interviewing listing agents.
I used Debbie Grandits from HER Realtors - 614-580-7878. She was GREAT! She helped us build our first home about 6 years ago. If we ever move again, she would be my only call! We still even get Christmas cards from her.
I agree with Don. Many of the areas in Lewis Center are newer and Sellers many times use the agent that helped them to buy the home which explains the variety. I have one for sale in McCammon Estates right now and similarly the listings are all varied in past sales and currently on market. Again, I agree with Don...Interview several and pick the one that you are most comfortable with. Using the "neighborhood realtor" isn't always in your best interest to begin with.
If you need the answer for something coming up or curiousity: Well, based on this year's activity, no one "sell[s] a lot in ...Wilshire..." (9 are for sale, 3 pending, and; of 11 sold- it appears by 11 different people have sold them.) As far as experience, you should interview 2 or three and see who you are comfortable with, depending on your need vs. their kind of experience..
