I am thinking about buying a home for my son in Morgantown. I have heard that Morgantown is bucking the national trend and the housing prices are actually on the rise there. Where can I go to research market trends for the past year and also to review market forecasts for the future? My son is a student at West Virginia University and will probably stay in that area for another 4 or 5 years. I was thinking that it might be more economically wise to purchase a home for him rather than continue to help him with rent. I would like to know of a website where I can go to research the pros and cons of such an action prior to making this decision.
