Hi Rene.

Palo Alto is an extremely strong market and is isolated from nationwide, statewide and even local Bay Area trends. To answer your question, any agent would need to know specifically what area of Palo Alto you are interested in before giving you any data because looking at Palo Alto as a whole will only give you a very general idea of the stability of average market price gains.

A 3 bed and 2 bath home with 1,300 SF will be priced much different in Downtown vs. Mid-Town and even an approximation for that broad of an area will give you the wrong idea as to true values in a specific part of town you might be interested in.

Hi Rene - There are currently 5 homes on the MLS that fit this description. They range in price from $900K to $1,289,000. In fact, three of them are above $1.2 mil. I hope this is helpful to you. Let me know if you need more info.

Palo Alto homes are highly desired commodities. Sought after schools and the geographical location on the SF mid-Peninsula, compounded by inventory shortage, and a broad buyer population creates a viable market for homes of this size

FIRST ANSWER
Palo Alto is extremely neighborhood-sensitive when it comes to home prices. Homes in the north end can cost almost twice as much as homes in the south end for the same size structure and lot. On average, a basic home for what you describe would go for $900k to $1.2M, depending on the neighborhood. Give me cross streets of neighborhoods you'd be interested in and I can provide more accurate numbers for homes in those areas. John
