What is the rental market like for homes in the Pinnacle Peak area of Scottsdale?

The unfurnished market, usually 12 month terms, is quite different from the furnished market. Unfurnished longterm rentals are going for about 90 cents per quare foot per month.
Furnished means everything from leins to dishes to BBQ tools. The off season rates are about $1 per square foot per month. In season can be twice that or more depending on the home - location; decor; etc...

I just rented one of my own units, it took me almost two months to get it rented.

I have lived here in Pinnacle Peak for 16 years now and I have one home rented out at about $0.90 per square foot........nice home built in 1998, pool, one 1 acre land just west of Pinnacle Peak on Sulky Circle..

Yearly rentals can do well here and you should be able to get $0.90/ft2 and they pay all the utilities - you pay for landscape and pool maintenance - I also property manage rentals for 6% if the owner has a home warranty on the property............John Lynch RE/MAX Fine Properties jlynch@fineprop.com

We are purchasing our retirement home, but won't move there until 3 to 5 years. We were thinking of leasing the home for a few years and I was wondering what the market was like for leasing homes. It's a 3 bedroom plus study, with 3 car garage and a pool. It's in the Troon North area.

Tom, we just rented one of our listings in this area for $3000 per month. 4 beds, 3 baths, 3 car garage, pool. The going rate has been around $.90-$1.00 per square foot per month. There are some homes available, however, it totally depends on what you are looking for. With more information, I could email you some listings. Good luck.

If you want to see some rental listings in this area, let me know. Pinnacle Peak is well known. Residents of Scottsdale are very proud of it. It offers many activities. I don't know how familiar you are with Scottsdale, but let me tell you it offers something for every taste. Its home of some very known Resorts. Everybody has heard also about Scottsdale School District..

Your question is very general. Can you be more specific. 3,4,5 bedroom homes, single story, two story , pool or no pool, rental amounts, vacancy rates?

What are you trying to accomplish?
