What is the market like in Chandler?

Asked by Lisa, Chandler, AZ Thu Mar 13, 2008

To be specific, I'm looking to sell a house in 85225 and buy one in 85226. The house I have now is near Alma School and Warner.

This area of chandler is great. We have seen 7% increases in value each month for the past 2 months. It is the beginning stages of a sellers market. Depending on what your home has to offer you may be able to get more out of your home through certain marketing strategies I have been practicing with this competitive market. I just sold a home for 20% appraised value using these techniques. I'd love to have to have the opportunity to help you out with the sell and/or purchase of your home.

Have you contacted an agent to get a comparative market analysis on your home? That would be the best 1st step. It's important to get a value based on recent sales in your neighborhood that are similar to homes like yours. Your agent can also give you the information on average days on market for home in your neighborhood,

For the Area and Grid that are Warner rd and Alma school. There are 230 active listings.
Currently there are 36 pending sales.
28 Homes have "SOLD" closed escrow since February 01/08
of those 28 homes
11 were REO`s
3 Short sales.....
