On follow-up; I have two suggestions for you.

1) Google "New Homes for sale, Garland, Texas". The search results should provide you with examples of different homes, and perhaps you'll find a home that offers the features and finishes you have in mind?

2) Go to Trulia.com or Zillow.com, then search for homes in Garland, Texas. Both Trulia and Zillow provide an estimated price, and also a estimated cost per-square-foot.

That's probably the easiest way to get an idea of the price-per-square-foot in Garland, Texas.

Good luck!

This is a popular question on Trulia; "What is the construction cost per-square-foot in.... Seattle, Glencoe, Illinois, or Garland, Texas?" The best advice is to seek a local contractor. The cost per-square-foot will vary based on the cost of permits, materials, labor, and the quality of the finishes and fixtures you select. It's impossible to give you a price without knowing if the project is a one-story home, a 2-story, the number of bathrooms, brick, wood, or stucco, and more? Really, there are just too many variables to consider to offer you a cost estimate that would be reliable.
