currently there are no rentals listed in the St Louis MLS for DeSoto, MO, which is near St Louis, not Kansas City. That doesn't mean there aren't any though. Rentals are typically owned by individuals who only own one or two properties that they rent out. As a result, they typically put a sign in the yard and run an ad in the newspaper, rather than listing the home with a Realtor and putting it in the MLS system. With increased inventory of homes on the market at the moment, many owners who have been unable to sell are turning their properties into rentals. I would suggest that you check the local newspaper.
