I'm going to go out on a limb here and tell you to be careful in Oak Ford. Some of the five acre lots can have flooding problems, It is a really nice wooded area, but just be aware that a few years ago the homeowners got together and tryed to clean up some of the drainage and it wound up being a giant mess, they had to go back and fill in wet lands, pay fines and worst of all they are right back where they started with crappy drainage during peak rainy seasons. The lots in the "new" section are one acre and the original lots are five acres. The golf course has been closed. I'm sorry to be so negative but better to tell it like it is.

1800 square feet is the minimum the home owners association allows. You might want to look in Bern Creek as well, it's in the same general area as Oak Ford but about three miles closer to the interstate.
