J.P., Home Buyer in Tampa, FL

There is a lot of talk of a softening real estate market. How would you describe the real estate market in Prospect Heights?

Asked by J.P., Tampa, FL Mon Apr 23, 2007

How long do homes typically sit on the market in this city?

In Prospect Heights there really isn't a softening market-- there could actually be a shortage of available units which could lead to bidding wars now and thru early spring 2013.

Prospect Heights is one of those Downtown Brooklyn neighborhoods that has an increasing appeal because of it's central location. Pricing is still strong and demand is high. The product that this neighborhood offers is comparable to most Downtown Brooklyn neighborhoods. Sales are up and inventory sells quickly. Now that new condo development has come to the area, the population should see nice growth.
