Both cities have a lot to offer, they've both undergone a huge transformation in the last few years and they're both very desirable places to live. You really can't go wrong with either choice, but Sachse is probably the better location for resale value.

Where would you rather be? Don't chose where to live based on future appreciation. If it doesn't happen how will you feel? Live where you want to live for all the other reasons.

That is a speculative question which we really cannot answer legally. I would say they are very similar in size and structure. I am an Agent and Long time Resident of Forney so I obviously have a Bias. I would think one thing that would be a deciding factor would be where you need to go. In my opinion Forney is an easier commute in to Dallas at this time via 80 and 20.

I would recommend going to both cities websites and finding out a little about the future plans and decide which one you think is better, because ultimately the development of the town will affect property values. I will say that Forney has a great new and expanding Community Park. It also has plans for a downtown renovation program that promises to be nice as well.

Once a large name retailer commits there is plans for a large firewheel type development between windmill farms and cr 212 on hwy 80.

When you decide to start looking let me know I know Forney very well, but find people houses all over the metroplex including Sachse and dont mind showing homes in multiple areas. As an added bonus my lack of a large name broker allows me to rebate 20% of my commission back to my buyers after closing.

Thanks

Well, Sachse is almost out of land so property values will increase once that becomes scarce. Forney was growing a lot at one point but it still has A LOT of land in Forney or around it.

Both are yet desirable areas to live in.
