The answer to your question depends on whether you are talking about the public water coming from Soquel Creek Water District, or a private or shared well. For info on SCWD, you should contact them at 831-475-8500. If it's a well, the water can be tested fairly economically. The area along San Andreas Rd. towards Sunset beach has definitely been identified as one where there are concerns about both nitrates and seawater intrusion. If you are selling, your agent can advise you about what kind of research and subsequent disclosure is appropriate for your situation. Hope this helps!
