Hi Susan

There are two types of valuation, one for property tax purposes and the other for
Refinance valuation and another for sale of a property.

If you are looking for Assessment for Tax purposes, it is best to check
http://Www.sccassessor.org.

If you are looking for a free market valuation of your home do send over an email .

Thanks and have a great Sunday.

Hi Susan:

Go directly to the website Gabriel noted below, http://www.sccassessor.org. There will be a box with a picture of a woman wearing a headset, and you'll see the question "I'd to look up the assessed value" and click on this. You'll enter your address, and the assessor will provide you with the address, value of the land, and the value of the improvements.

If you have any other questions about your property, give the Assessor's office a call at 408-299-5570.

Good luck!!

Sincerely,
Grace Morioka

Gabriel gave you the direct link to the County Assessors' office. Your property is usually assessed at the value you paid for the property. There are some exceptions. The assessed value doesn't determine market value, so keep that in mind.

Have an amazing day!
