search for your area in trulia and look at the stats posted. For instance, search 'rustburg' and it will give you some pretty good stats to start with. It won't include all listings but can give you a general idea. You can get a days on market stat, but you have to be more exclusive to the specific area you are talking about to get a real feeling for it.
