Actually it's a little of both. Real Estate is cyclical - everyone will tell you that - and we just happen to be on the downward side anticipating the days when we will start moving upwards again. Now th media is to blame as well because of their over sensationalized methods of reporting. Yes times are bad for some however, times are great for others. Think of the elated sellers that are closing and moving onward with their lives, or the overjoyed buyers that are closing on their first homes. People are still buying and people are still selling and it will always be that way - just that at times it will be harder and at other times it will be easier. So put the papers and books away, turn off the news and listen to some words of advice that my grandfather keeps saying, "The harder you work, the luckier you will get."
