Anloure-

I'm a landlord of 9 rental homes in the Phoenix area, and a property manager for another 40. The rental market is pretty strong right now, as this is the prime time of the year for the rental market. Homes with pools are flying off the shelves, commanding strong prices.

Should you use an agent? You should most likely use a property manager that knows the rental market, understands property management, has systems and tools in place to manage and communicate with landlords and tenants, and has the people at the ready to manage your property successfully.

Could that be me? Perhaps. I do manage some property in west mesa, but I only manage homes within 30 minutes of my office, in order to ensure a high service level. If not myself, I can put you in touch with a couple of other property managers that I know and trust.

I would strongley suggest and agent that manages rentals or a property management company!

There are people looking however a lot of rentals available! It will help you be more professional and hopefully get the right tenant! Make sure you know there process!

Anloure,

What is the rental market like right now?
It`s OK
It really depends on what you want for rent...Being current affordability, and what type of home you are renting 2 bed or 4 bed....Pool or no Pool....School district?...Of course location.

Should you use an Agent?
How much will they charge you, and what will the agent do?
Getting a home rented is easy at the right price. The trick is qualifying the tenant, taking care of them and the home during their stay.

Sometimes collecting rent can be tough. Having to evict a non paying resident is a nightmare especially if they have filed Bankruptcy. Let`s not forget the HOA.

Are you an in or out of state landlord?
