Most websites aren't designed to display this information, though I have no idea why because it is part of the data feed from our local board.

Thank you for your very good question Christine!
I have asked zillow and Trulia to fix this, but they said that since only two states, Hawaii and Florida have leaseholds, that it is just too expensive!
However, I can send you an updated search of all properties with your specifications right away that will include Fee Simple or Leasehold, and the HOA fees.
Just give me a call at: 808.218.2899 for this FREE service.
This help you save a lot of time!

It is an issue with Trulia, I have brought this up to them for over 8 months. Hopefully if more people voice this concern they will change their system. It is also a good reason why it's always best to worn directly with a Realtor and skip the watered down online sites that try to do everything.

Good question... I recommend going to http://www.hicondos.com and you can find a wealth of information about various buildings around town.

I agree with this post. Hoa fees should be posted and fee if the property is leasehold.

Aloha Christine:

I can imagine it would be tedious but it is listed on every Listing in the M.L.S.
Perhaps you might wan to use the local Honolulu Board of Realtors M.L.S.: http://www.hicentral.com
