Hello, Please go to http://www.news9.com on the page that comes up click on crime, a new page will come up. On the right hand side scroll down about midway to the “Crime Tracker” button. Enter the address of the home you’re interested in and different colored balloons will appear base upon the type of crimes in the area...no balloons, no crime! :) Once you zero in on a specific home go tour the neighborhood on different days and times of the week.

Should you have any questions, concerns, or need additional help, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Good morning

Oakdale Drive is actually a hidden gem. I lived on this street for 20 years and still have friends that live there. It feels like country living right here in the heart of the city. Feel free to contact me if you'd like more information. I'll be happy to help.

These are all great websites for checking crime stats. I would encourage you to ALWAYS do your own research, rather than asking for the opinion of others. How an area "feels" and what the actual crime stats show can often be 2 very different things. Good luck on your search.

Probably need to really do some reading into this area and make your own mind up about it.

This is one of those questions you will have to find the answer yourself, however there are many great websites available to help you in this search. Others have listed a few but there is one you must check every time you want to know about a house or area and that is: http://www.homefacts.com

Do not make an offer on a house until you check this website. I would recommend driving thru the area at different times of the day and even on the weekend. It doesn't matter where you live, crime is there but that doesn't mean it isn't a great place to live.

I wish you the very best in your search. Owning a home is one of the best things a person will do in their lives.

Trulia's "Local Info" Tab provides crime stats of all the states. Click on the link and type in the address you are interested in.
