Steve,

There were 115 homes sold in the 48450 zip code in the past year. This compares to 75 the previous year according to Sanilac County Public Records. It appears activity in the area is generally picking up.

In Michigan, a Buyer's Agent (an agent you sign a Buyer's Agency Agreement with) can help you determine if home values are decreasing or increasing for this area. Sample forms are available on the website below. I suggest you take some time to read about Agency and Agency Responsibility Act before contacting any agents.

Yes Steve there are limited buyers in many areas of South East Michigan. We are faced with tons of bank homes on the market. They price them low, get a low offer then price the next one lower. This makes it hard on the private owners who may want to move because any equity they once had is now gone. Sorry to say 48450 is no different from Macomb County.
