Is it possible to work smarter not harder?

In this crazy Real Estate market it is way to easy to get caught up in what I call the "non-dollar producing activities". Often times we find ourselves mearly staying busy doing projects that could be delegated to somebody at far less the cost it would take for the Real Estate professional to complete. These tasks are important, however we must focus on prospecting and puting buyers and sellers together not placing signs or building flyers. My advice has always been hire an assitant, train them well and give them the authority to help increase your business.

That is excellent advise. I see alot of agents who are letting their assistants go as they think they can no longer afford them, however how can they afford not to have them. Without them the production of the agent goes down.
