In answer to your question regarding the investment market in Corvallis, now is a great time to buy. As of the end of Sept. there were 452 active listings in Corvallis. The Corvallis market is seeing a small decline in pricing but since interest rates are still very low, making the "cost of borrowing" money a good deal. Property next to campus is a great investment and there is alot to choose from. If you wait till the market "bottoms out" you are more likely to not realize it until it is on it's way back up.
