Can you tell us how the new Tower (2) @ the infinity is selling; what the asking price is for the 2 bed corner units along Spear street between floors 5 and 30 ; what the sellling price has been and how the sales price compares with Tower 1?

Hi Mark,

There's a discussion about the Infinity happening over at SocketSite -- see URL below -- that will interest you. It's confirmed that tower 2 is 17% "sold" thus far, but prices are not discussed. This is likely related to Mark Choey's comment below (NDA/quiet titles).

Agents nor sellers cannot post nor disclose the sale prices as they have been made confidential (everyone is required to sign a non-disclosure agreement and the sales are all "quiet" recordings. However, I can tell you that the prices are quite competitive actually and are lower than when Tower 1 first started out. I have already sold one in Tower II and can definitely help you as I have sold over 20 units there and am the #1 agent at the Infinity currently.

Hello Mark,

As an ex-appraiser and current Realtor I would question whether it makes sense to invest in anything in this development in the first place. There are certain requisites I would want to hear from you (if you were my client) first before I ever said this is an okay place to buy. Tower I folks have taken some big hits in a short time.

If you'd like to hear the good, bad, and ugly of the Infinity Towers, what the future outlook for the neighborhood is, and my advice on an investment here, I'd prefer to do so off-line. You may contact me at your leisure if interested.

Best of luck,

Dear Mark,

Take a realtor with you...... they will negotiate on your behalf for a lot more than the sales people will. All of the new construction sites are discounting dues to slower sales and over-pricing for today's market.

Be care of what your unit will look out on as new construction is planned for the west side and Tower Two's best side is East for views. Be sure to ask about south side of building as well.

Best,

Sally

Hi Mark,

The two bedroom configurations you speak of are the most popular at the Infinity. They sold out in Tower I before the discounting we've seen recently began. There was a list of buyers awaiting the release of Tower II, so initial sales have been good - it's still early. The sales team has insisted that the developer would not be as flexible as they were in Tower II, but I wonder...

There are significant differences among prices in the corner stacks between the 5th and 30th floors. The fifth floor is just above street level, while the 30th offers great views... I don't have pricing in front of me, but can acquire examples if you'd like more information.

Take care,
