In April of 2009, I purchased a newly built home. I recently received the 2009 county tax ticket from the

seller. The property is clsssified as a class 3 rental. Therefore, the tax due is almost 1K more than expected or escrowed from the bank.

Does anyone know how this works?
Shouldn't the property have changed to a class 2?

The seller only provided me $118 for 1/1/2009 - 4/17/2009. The county has me being responsible for the 3200 for the year.
