Sam,
I am a realtor in New Canaan and would be happy to provide you with that info as well as a market report that profiles the current market. If you are looking for information on a specific property that information is available on the town's website, http://www.newcanaan.info. Just click on the property appraisals button and follow directions. If you have any other questions you can reach me at Kelly@Realty-Guild.com.

Sam:
The houses sold on the MLS have to be checked against both the New Canaan MLS and the CMLS. There is no direct public access to those sites, but we'd be happy to provide you with the information. Additionally there are houses sold "off the market" and recorded, as noted below, at town hall or via the Commercial Record. There is also some information on pending sales and year-to-date sales. Either e-mail me at patrickfilley@prudentialct.com or reach us through our web site.

Sam, if you go to prudentialct.com you will find a comprehensive Market Report which is put out on a quarterly basis. It will give you a look at not only New Canaan, but the entire state of Connecticut. If you are looking for more specific information, I have several spreadsheets (specific to New Canaan) which you might find useful.
Sam, if you just want a quick overview of the properties that were sold last year in New Canaan, CT you can go to www. raveis.com and look under "Sold Homes" - a button along the top of the page. It will prompt you set up an account but this is nothing more than your email address, and once you do that the site will show you recently sold homes for the past year in the town that you choose. It's an easy way to get an overview.

Hi Sam, the information you want is public information, I don't think New Canaan town hall has a website presence that gives you that info with a click of a button, you can go to town hall and there is a book at the assessors office which usually lists all of the transfers of property. You can also contact a realtor who can access a list from the MLS and actually email it to you that will show you all of the sales in all price points. Hope this helps! Sam, I am not quite sure on your state laws, but I would suggest one of two means:
- Go to the County Tax office.
- Speak to a Realtor for assistance.
Depending on the size of your town, the list could be quite extensive.
Best of luck,
TIm Cash
