Where is your new job location? If you are looking to rent in Tracy, there are a few areas which you may want to consider.

Corral Hollow and Eleventh Street is a busy intersection with all your grocery shopping needs. Safeway, Starbucks, Long's Drugs are all around the area. It is only a few minutes drive to the hospital and Costco as well as Walmart.

Another area is called Hidden Lake. Houses in this neighborhood are built around a man made lake and the pride of ownership is high in that area. Homes are well maintained and the area is more secluded.

If you have children, you may want to consider the area around the Ace Train Station (around Tracy Blvd and Linne Rd). This area belongs to the Jefferson School District. You can check out the ratings, they score fairly high. http://www.greatschools.net/schools.page?district=749&state=CA

At last, there is the Redbridge community. Homes here are built by Standard Pacific Homes and this is a nice little community. For more info, please visit http://redbridgeneighbors.com/

If your job is located more towards the bay area, you may also want to consider Mountain House. Mountain House has great schools, lots of parks and a dry creek as well as homes which are generally newer. Check it out here: http://www.mountainhouse.net/residential/community.html

You should have a pretty good selection of rentals as investors are now snatching up bank owned properties in the Tracy and Mountain House area. Good luck.

If you are looking for information on the community and areas to live, rent please contract me directly.

Craigs' List is a great option, there are agents and home owners with rental properties.

A word of caution - we are seeing quite a few unscrupulous landlords who will take your first and last month rent, your security deposit, your rental checks, and all the while they know that they are not making thier mortgage payments...... what this means to you is that you may get a notice on the door telling YOU - you have to move that the home has been foreclosed.

Please be careful - and if the deal seems to good to be true - it probably is.
