Hi,
What price range are you considering? There are many homes on Long Island in various communities at all different prices. School district and location help determine the price. For more information about Long Island, please contact me.

I have been selling homes in the Mastic, Mastic Beach, Shirley locations for over 10-years. There are some great opportunities and the community offers a lot. Yes, you are close to the water but not all homes are small. Depending on the price you are qualified for or even looking to spend will depend on the type of home in those locations. You could buy a small cottage or be in the estate section. Either way...great locations at great prices!

Feel free to email me with any additional questions.

Many criteria determines why a particular area may be expensive or inexpensive. The value of a particular area or property may be determined more by perception than reality. Also, Mastic and Mastic Beach are quite far away from New York City and the closer you get to the City, the higher the prices. Most of the jobs in Manhattan pay significantly higher than those on Long Island. To travel from Mastic or Mastic Beach to NYC, you would either have to drive to Ronkonkoma or from a local train station. Leaving from a local train station would mean much fewer trains and a much, much longer commute. Mastic and Mastic Beach are also close to the water and many of the homes are quite small. I have sold homes all over Long Island and would be happy to help you find an appropriate home to fit your needs. Please feel free to contact me at your convenience.
