I'm from Argentina, finally I bought a 210 acres tract in NC, I got a 10% discount paying cash (185K), I did pay 900 USD/acre. Is only flat land, 60% trees (15 y.o. pines), 40% opened without enhancements. (no house, no fence)
Zeke, it looks like you made a smart purchase. I could help you manage those pine trees to maximize your investment. Contact me if you are interested. e-mail: thadbanks@msn.com
The land is 4 miles from Autryville and 20 miles southeast from Fayetteville, in Cumberland county, NC.
900 per acre is a good deal. That is really cheap for the area. Way to go. What do you plan on doing with the land now?
Hi Zeke-
It sounds like you got a pretty good deal on the land you purchased. Of course the location makes a big difference. Is the tract in Fayetteville? Is so, the exact location still influences pricing. On a side note...do you know of any real estate investment clubs in Argentina? If so, please let me know. Thanks!
I think that is an awesome deal! I am a Realtor in Southlake TX and here in Southlake acres are going for $350,000 plus. Now you can go a little out of the way and still get acreage for like $17,000 per acre however, for the inner city, close to D/FW airport, the land is really expensive. I am always amazed at how much acres are sold for in other parts of the country.
$900 dollars an acre sounds like a very good deal. Of course it all depends on the land itself and where it is but, it does sound like you got that land at a very good price.
